SEARC is a diverse group of amateur radio operators (Hams) that are interested in learning, collaborating and promoting the hobby, sport and service of amateur radio in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota metropolitan area and southeast South Dakota. SEARC is an ARRL affiliated club.

Today, Saturday, April 20th, is the Support your Parks POTA Special Event. The Club will be at the Big Sioux Recreation Area in Brandon to participate. Setup starts at 9am as we check in to the Saturday morning Trader Swap Net on the 444.200 repeater.This is an excellent opportunity to get on the air, ask questions, see portable stations, and network with fellow operators. A grill will be available for use, but you will need to bring your own food. SEARC will be hosting a Winter Field Day event next weekend (January 27th) at Lake Vermillion State Park. Cabin 2 along the lake will be where we will setup!
